Happy New Year to everyone that visits TFP and keeps supporting it. Today I've some stuff from a new person around here, RedSuzaku. First, you'll find a new sign featuring Bender, and also 3 new stamps... 2 featuring Bender, and the other the main PE Crew (Fry, Leela and Bender). I also uploaded 5 new arts by Yume93 (aka Frygirl) that feature a pic of Fry and Bender as kids, a pic of Fry with Cosmo from The Odd Parents, a weird pick of Fry and Bender as a couple (don't ask), a Xmas pic feturing Susan... a fictional character, and one of Fry as a Mermaid.
Well, I hope you enjoyed the 72 epiosdes marathon at [adult swim], and now, you'll see Futurama at Comedy Central in 2008.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!

Hello once again. I'm back around here with some interesting info. According to a recent article by Sam Thielman from Variety.com, many direct to DVD movies are growing in popularity. In the case of Futurama is true, and here you have the numbers:

[...] using DVD popularity to market a TV show, instead of the other way around -- but thus far the plan has worked. In its first week on sale, "Bender's Big Score" reportedly sold almost 100,000 copies, grossing $1.97 million.

So, there you have it... for more info about this visit the article at Variety.com. If you want to make that number bigger, just buy Bender's Big Score!

Leela Xmas outfit by PalmBeacherIs Xmas in about 3-4 days right? That's why today I've uploaded some great xmas fanart for all the Futurama fans to enjoy. First, I've added 2 fanarts by SonicPanther, one features Bender from the Bender's Big Score movie, and the other a Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays fanart featuring Fry. The other artist around here is PalmBeacher with two great Xmas fanart. One of Fry in a slide, and the other (featured here) of Leela in a cool wondering Xmas pose that you've to check out. BTW, check out the Futurama Returns! News section for a brief of news about the series in the past 3 weeks.

Certainly... Futurama has been nominated for an Annie Award in the Best Home Entertainment Production for: Futurama "Bender’s Big Score" – The Curiosity Company in association with 20th Century Fox Television..

you can visit the current nominations at Annie Awards: For Your Consideration Page (the title says 2006, but the list is from 2007), and it is competing only with Doctor Strange – MLG Productions.

This is the first nomination of the series since 2004, when it was nominated for 2 awards, Outstanding Music in an Animated Television Production: Ken Keeler for episode "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" and Outstanding Writing in an Animated Television Production: Patric Verrone for episode "The Sting".

Remember, the last time Futurama won an Annie Award was in 2003 for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Television Production: Rich Moore For episode "Roswell That Ends Well", so let all be sure that Futurama can win a new award to give the show even more hope to return as a new season (after the new one that's gonna air at Comedy Central in 2008).

Once again I'm around here to give you some nice Futurama stuff for you to enjoy. It seems that the Bender's Big Score fever has dropped a little, but that's no excuse, so if you still don't have the DVD of the movie... go ahead and buy it!. Today I've added some nice fanart created by SonicPanther. I've added nine of her images featuring mainly Fry (as Fry and as Captain Yesterday) and Leela (a oeaki version of her looks really good!). Also an image of Nudar, from the First Futurama Movie.
In other news, a recent interview (december 4th, 2007) with David X Cohen from Travis Fickett of IGN.com has some new info about the future of Futurama... a small quote of the interview over here:

David X Cohen: [...] And my secret hope that I tell every single person, thus becoming less secret by the minute, is they'll call up and say 'Hey, let's do a feature film!' Because not only do we have the example that the fans can bring these shows back as DVD movies and more episodes, but from The Simpsons movie they now see that these animated shows can make a transition to feature film. So I'm hoping they'll combine all the evidence together and bring us back as a feature film.

A Futurama Feature Film would be awesomely neat!. For the full article, go ahead to the ING article: David Cohen on Futurama. BTW, I've added a Contact Form once again... if you wanna write me about something related to Futurama or this website go ahead, and please let me know of something is not working over there.

Hello people. Is time to add some new stuff from the Futurama fans around here. I've seen a lot of more activity after the launch of the First Futurama Movie, and now also because of the Next Futurama Movie, The Beast With A Billion Backs. First, I've added two new fanarts by Professor Zoidy. Both the images she has created feature Fry, Leela and Bender, and you'll see one in B&W, and the other is a hand-drawn and hand-painted action scene with the main crew being attacked by spatial tentacles (or something like that :P)... it has also some alien alphabet for you to decode. The second artist, and featured today, is Grahan Dawson, with 4 stunning arts. One features Leela in a cool looking sexy pose (featured today), other features Amy and Leela almost nude featuring Bender's Big Score. A third one is and old one but nicely female version of Fry (a.k.a. Phillipa Fry), and the final and my favorite is the one of Bender in a great angle with the title: Bender's Back Baby!.

In other news, I've added here the Futurama Bender's Big Score Widget:
Is a cool looking Futurama widget (check out the Stuff Tab for more Official Walls and Icons). I suggest you to join the Bender's Big Score Official Web Team, and accomplish the mission to add this widget to your website or suggest it to other websites, and the chance to win a copy of Bender's Big Score. Please hurry up because this and the other contests there end in December 18th, 2007.

As you can see, below each news item, I've added the permalink URL (and also the shorcut to the single news item). You'll also find shorcuts to share the news item to digg, stumble upon, del.icio.us, reddit and furl... so if you wanna share it, just click on your favorite shorcut.

Hello people. I'm writing because I've been recently contacted by M80 that is working with FOX in order to promote the new Futurama DVD Movie: Bender's Big Score.

If you wanna help spread the word about the film and WIN a copy of the DVD as a prize for helping out, you just have to join the Official Online Team for Bender’s Big Score at www.m80teams.com/go/teams/futurama/ (if you're not a member yet, CLICK Cancel > CLICK More Teams > CLICK Futurama: Bender's Big Score > and Click on the banner to join. You can also go directly to the Registration Page). You've to accomplish a few easy missions/tasks to spread the word about the DVD, and the chance to win the Bender's Big Score DVD.

Ok, in other news, I've added a few news in the Futurama Returns! News section. Two links to interesting videos, one at the Premiere of Bender's Big Score (thanks to Chuck Martinez), and the other features the first 4 minutes of the movie. Also, interviews with Phil LaMarr, and onother one to David X. Cohen. Finally, check out the article at Geek Monthly magazine (and also the cool cover).
