Hi. I'm a little late with the Xmas update, but trust me, I've been busy. Today is time for a Xmas present, hopping you can enjoy the Futurama Xmas, and that's why today is an all Xmas Futurama fanart!!

Stocking Stuffers Xmas by Gulliver63I wanna start with a great artist that made some great Xmas fanart these past days, I'm talking about Gulliver63, that created 6 images, four of them featuring a Futurama Calendar Advent that has some interesting characters: the Australian Man, Petunia, Michelle, and Dr. John Zoidberg.. each one is very funny! You'll see also 2 Xmas images made, the first one features the Plant Express crew being captured by some giant aliens, and they are now a Xmas decoration.. the other one is clever and has all the Planet Express employees socks with presents (that is kinda odd coming from Robot Santa).

Another Xmas Artist today is vickram101. He has created a nice red and green Xmas card featuring Leela and Fry. sof-sof has also created 1 Xmas fanart, but this one featured Fry holding a Christmas present.

Advent Calendar - 25th - Zoidberg Jesus by KaspiredThe last artist of this Xmas is Kaspired, also with 3 Calendar Advent images, like the ones from Gulliver63 (they both worked together to create these series). You'll find Leela and Amy dressed as cans of peanuts dancing, Robot Santa and his classic machine gun and also, another classic of the show, Zoidberg Jesus for de date of December 25th.

I hope you all had a Clool Red Xmas!

True! I've not been around in about 1 week and a half, and that is not acceptable. That's why today I added a mega update of Futurama fanart, for all of you to enjoy.

Stranded (leea + Fry + Bender) by KaspiredI would lie to start with a good friend that has created 6 fanart images.. I'm talking about Kaspired. The fanart features many situations, like Leela posing with 8 different science fiction spaceships, Sharaku Amy (inspired by the style of Tōshūsai Sharaku), Leela wearing only whipped cream.. a sexy Xmas present featuring LaBarbara Conrad, The Hypnoclaus (Hypnotoad + Santa Claus) featured in an Advent Calendar and finally, Leela, Fry and Bender camping after Fry destroyed their truck.. this one is one of my favorites in all aspects, so please check it out!

Amy (in bikini) for DMajorBoss by kik0thek1llerThe Next artist featured today is back with only one Futurama fanart, but is a great one. The artist is kik0thek1ller and I've added a very sexy full body pose of Amy wearing a bikini, that was a birthday present to a fella in DeviantArt called DMajorBoss, but I'm sure this image is a very neat present for all of us (specially the Amyholics!).

I want to finish this update with a Fan Comic created by the neat Gulliver63. This 1 page comic is called The Scary Door, and features Amy, Zoidberg and.. Corn haha. Is like an unusual story from The Scary Door, only that this one features some of the Futurama characters.

I was going to add more fanart, but is kinda late and I really need to sleep. Have fun!

The episodes are "6acv10 - The Prisoner of Benda" written by Ken Keleer and "6acv11 - Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences " written by Patric M. Verrone. To make thing more interesting, these episodes are competing against 2 Simpsons episodes, here you go all nominees:

  • "Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences" (Futurama), Written by Patric M. Verrone; Comedy Central
  • "Moe Letter Blues" (The Simpsons), Written by Stephanie Gillis; Fox
  • "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?" (The Simpsons), Written by Matt Selman; Fox
  • "The Prisoner of Benda" (Futurama), Written by Ken Keeler; Comedy Central

The Scream (Zapp and Kif version) by Gulliver63I've also some great fanart for all of you today. The other artist today here is Sof-Sof with a early Xmas image featuring Fry giving Zapp a gift..

Futurama Annie Awards 2011 nominationsHello. I'm back with great news. Futurama has been nominated for 2 Annie Awards 2011 like the title says. For the everyone that doesn't know, the Annie Awards are the Oscars/Emmys of Animated Shows (like @erog23 a.k.a. Futurama Writer Eric Rogers mentioned).
Futurama will compete in these 2 categories:

BEST ANIMATED TELEVISION PRODUCTION
  • Futurama - The Curiosity Company in association with 20th Century Fox Television
  • Kung Fu Panda Holiday - DreamWorks Animation
  • Scared Shrekless - DreamWorks Animation
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars "Arc Troopers" - Lucasfilm Animation, Ltd.
  • The Simpsons "The Squirt and the Whale" - Gracie Films
WRITING IN A TELEVISION PRODUCTION
  • Daniel Arkin "Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Heroes on Both Sides" - Lucasfilm Animation Ltd.
  • Jon Colton Barry & Piero Piluso "Phineas & Ferb: Nerds of a Feather" - Disney Channel
  • John Frink "The Simpsons: Stealing First Base" - Gracie Films
  • Geoff Johns, Matthew Beans, Zeb Wells, Hugh Sterbakov, Matthew Senreich, Breckin Meyer, Seth Green, Mike Fasolo, Douglas Goldstein, Tom Root, Dan Milano, Kevin Shinick & Hugh Davidson "Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III" – ShadowMachine
  • Michael Rowe "Futurama" - The Curiosity Company in association with 20th Century Fox Television
Michael Rowe wrote episode "6acv04 - Proposition Infinity" in the latest season, so I assume that's the one is being nominated for the award . In my opinion is a good episode because it has a social commentary and is the first one that felt like the usual complete Futurama episode of the latest season. He also wrote episode "6acv13 - The Futurama Holiday Spectacular", but it aired late this year.

This is of course a great time for some awards (hopefully), because we still don't know if Futurama will get renewed once again... In the meantime, don't forget to preorder Futurama Volume 5 on DVD or Blu-Ray, I know it sounds bad but a lot of money for FOX means more Futurama for us.
