So, what's new around here you might ask.. well, the title says all. A new artist is here at TFP to show us some nice fanart for all the Futurama fans! She is Beeju and I've uploaded 2 great images that she created. The first one is about Philip J.Fry and is called "Everyone Loves Fry".. it features Fry and his different expressions, looking like a graphic bios of him. The second fanart (featured today) is about Fry and Leela dancing and parodying Grease, the image is called "A Comical Futurama Musical".

Hi people. Is time again to update TFP... I've some nice fanart for you today from 2 Futurama fangirls. The first one is Sof-Sof (aka Yume93) and I've uploaded 4 of her images featuring: Fry with a teddy bear, Leela and Fry in an album photo, a Dominatrix Leela and one of her weird scenes of Fry and Zapp...

The other girl (featured today) is MissusPatches, and I've added 7 of her great fanarts. The images feature Fry, Zapp and Sofy (Sof-Sof) in her birhtday, the Human Robot Devil with Leela and Amy peeking him (and Bender charging for the peek), some cool random Futurama doodles that she made, the Robot Devil fighting for his solid gold fiddle, a kiss between Leela and the Human Robot Devil, Tinny Tim giving Sally a valentine's letter and finally, the Great Futurama Wall with many of the main and secondary characters, something that you don't wanna miss.

Hi people. Today I've added some stuff by a new artist around here. 3 new images with an interesting style, please welcome wolich22. The fanarts created by her feature a 'handsome' Elzar expressing his classic "Bam!", pimp evil Bender with wolich22 herself, and the last one features a smarter Fry (well, that's what I think). According to an article by Ed Waller from C21Media.net (thanks to Tim from Futurama Madhouse, and to Dominik) Futurama was renewed this week by the Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, and not by the FOX Network.

According to a reply by Ed Waller (author of the article) to Dominik, there will be new episodes to distribute to the International market on DVD (DVD sales). This is kinda vague, I'm thinking about these options:

1. Futurama is renewed (Hurray! It should be renewed by the FOX Network, not for DVD only.. that's my personal opinion, but hey, I preffer new Futurama on DVD than no Futurama at all)
2. They are releasing the 5th season (the 4 Futurama Movies) in form of episodes, with the extra content that appeared in Comedy Central
3. It could mean they are releasing the 4 Futurama Movies as "movies" or like episodes for the international market

So, I really hope is option number 1, but it could be 2 or 3, I don't know, and there's no more details. I can't wait to see if there's an official announcement in order to corroborate this news, and to find out if we will see new Futurama someday in the future.

In the meantime I have to stress that this is not official yet. Please don't forget to visit the original C21Media.net article and find out about other series that could be renewed, and also the Futurama Madhouse for more details.

Hello. Is time for a new update around here (about time you might say, but believe me, I'm somehow busy) and I'm gonna start with a fanfic by THM called Leela Lets her Hair Down that I shound add over here 2 weeks ago, but I forgot as usual (sorry THM). The history description goes like this: Looking back, Leela reflects how a small alteration in hairstyle ended up changing a lot more than she thought it would. (Co-third place, TSFFC Winter Writing Competition 2008).

Today I've uploaded 8 new fanarts created by Hiwi. The images feature Malfunctioning Eddie, the human Bender with a human Roberto, a sketch of Igner, Gir inside Bender's compartment, the Robot Devil with a top hat, Fry and Bender, 2 versions of a future Bender tattoo (that she's gonna get) and finally, a King Roberto with his sword (featured today).

So, I'm back around here. Is a little late, so I'm gonna add this update very quick. The first artist today is a new one. She is MoonDay, and I've two of her fanarts, both featuring Fry and Leela, one with a punk Leela and a cool Fry, the other is a shippy one.

The other artist today over here is Mike Jessen (aka Kaspired) and 6 of his images featuring Leela, Amy and la Barabara topless (but backwards), Hermes with Cubert and Dwight, Leela trapped by Kang and Kodos from The Simpsons, Amy and Kif using the flycycle from the episode "4acv16 - Three Hundred Big Boys", a sexy Leela painted in the nose of a plane, and the one featured today, Leela playing Deadthball.

According to Figures.com, there's a general release date for Futurama Toynami Wave 6, Clobberella (Leela) and Amy, in order to complete the 2nd Build-a-Bot, Robot Santa (with his arms and weapons). The possible release date is May/June, and I think is about time to release the last 2 figures to assemble Robot Santa.

There's also dates for Wave 7 (Hermes and Professor Farnsworth) and Wave 8 (Chef Bender and Mom with attachable Fat Suit). The tentative dates are July/August and October respectively. Both waves will let you complete the 3rd Buld-a-Bot, Roberto!


In the middle of Wave 7 and 8, there will be a "Encore Collection" Wave of Fry and Bender, that is good news for the fans that didn't get them the first time.. the bad news is that both do not include the Robot Devil pieces. Please check out the original Figures.com article.

A little late, I know.. Thanks to Svip from The Infosphere and Tim from the Futurama Madhouse, it seems that Futurama could have a second return, thanks to an article by Neil Wilkes from DigitalSpy.co.uk

The article talks about the renewed, possibly renewed and canceled TV shows. Futurama is labeled with an orange color that means exactly "is still waiting to hear" or possibly renewed.. no one knows.. but the hope is there. Please, don't forget to check out the original article.

Now, the return of Futurama is still not confirmed, but is a light of hope like I say... Is achievable to renew the series because is not a new one, is well known and has a lot of fans already (I think I wrote something about that over here). The Fans can dream... the fans can dream...

Hi again. I've to be more active here, that's all I've to say. I've some nice stuff for you today, starting with a new fan video created by mr35mm. The video is named "Nobody makes fun of my nose" and of course features Leela in the head museum fighting Smitty, and inspired by the 1st Futurama episode "1acv01 - Space Pilot 3000".. all the frames are original, the audio is from the Latin American dubbing. Check it out.

So, new fanart, why not new and great fanart created by Zed 85. 2 new stunning images featuring Leela, the first one covering from the rain with a damaged but neat invention, a hoverella.. the second features Leela with a very detailed dress (featured today), Fry in the back and a small history to complement one of my favorites fanart created by Zed 85 (aka ZedderZulu).

I've to rest now, if you notice the hour of this update (is true, now you can), I should sleep at least on the weekends... bye.

Oh my, I was about to add this update and my Internet connection went away for a few moments, so, here we go again. I've added some new fanart today, starting with María M Salazar and her fanart of the Robot Devil in a tuxedo dancing with a confused Bender wearing a dress (that reminded me the Gender Bender from the episode "2acv - Raging Bender")

The second artist here today created the Leela image featured today. I'm talking about Paul A. Metcalfe that created that great fanart called Impressions of Leela (in the impressionist style) that you should check out.

Finally, I added four images created by Hiwi. She created an image featuring here favorite scene from the Bender's Game movie. The other 3 images feature Bender in hell talking with the Robot Devil and Roberto.

Finally! Finally is the word. After almost 10 years, TFP finally has a decent news system. You'll notice a faster site in my opinion. There's finally more efficiency when I update the site, because believe it or not, there was some old old procedures in order to update or to show the news pages.

In a near future, I'll add more features thanks to this news system, but for now, is kinda transparent because I maintained the same design. Please let me know if you find any errors surfing the news, just go to the contact form, I'll be glad to know if something's wrong.

BTW, I was busy with this update.. and with my job, I have neglected some fanartists, but tomorrow (and I mean today, is around 00H40 here) you'll see some new stuff :).
