Hello everyone. I hope you all watched the 2 new Futurama episodes, 6avc01 - Rebirth and 6acv02 - In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela, at Comedy Central this past Thursday. It was a strong return in my opinion.. with some problems resetting the characters, but great anyway. In case you didn't see them, you can buy the episodes on iTunes according to what I've read on Twitter.

Canadian Fans: I know from a trusted source, that Canada is not going to get the new episodes at The Comedy Network.
UK, Australian and every other fan: No info yet about when the Futurama episodes will arrive to your countries.

Here you go the schedule of all Futurama Season 6 (Broadcast Season 7) according to MSN TV. We didn't know the order and descriptions of the episodes 6acv08 to 6acv12:

We are about 6 hours away from the premiere of Futurama Season 6, with 2 back-to-back episodes at Comedy Central (USA)!

• 10pm/9c episode 6acv01 - Rebirth: After a devastating spaceship crash, the Professor attempts to resuscitate the crew with his birth machine.
• 10:30pm/9:30c episode 6acv02 - In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela: Leela and Zapp Brannigan find themselves stranded on an Eden-like planet.

Please don't forget to watch the episodes, even if you illegally downloaded leaks or something like that, because the ratings are what matter a lot if we want Futurama to stay for good.

Hi everyone. Is time for some nice fan stuff, starting with a new fanfic by Gulliver63 called Gulliver's Parabox Too, that is the secuel of his previous story, the Gulliver's Parabox. That's not all for tday, because I've also uploaded 12 new fanarts by Gulliver63, featuring 4 parodies from different movies, some nice images of Leela, specially the one were she is laughing. 2 images of Amy, one with sandals, the other with crocs, a image of Human Bender with the robot versions of Amy and Leela, an interesting image of Leela in the world of Amy. Finally, an image that feature Futurama characters in the Simpsons, and other that is about the Simpsons characters in Futurama.

About the Futurama Season 6 news, you can watch a Q&A with Matt Groening and David X Cohen at Comedy Central, that is very short but kinda fun, however, many good questions that the fans left didn't appear. YOu can also see a lot of preview images and sketches at the Countdown to Futurama! (if you follow slurmed on twitter or facebook, you already know all this)

I've read 3 reviews about the 1st episode of season 6, "6acv01 - Rebirth" that say that the new episodes are not yet up to the classic Futurama, but I think those are more opinions than real reviews. Other opinions of people on twitter that saw the 1st episode, are very positive, but you'll have to see for yourself this Thursday, June 24th, 2010 @ 10pm/9c on Comedy Central.

Hello, I'm glad to find the name of one of the last Futurama episodes of (Production) Season 6, 6acv24 - Cold Warriors. The photo (click to enlarge):


The photo was added by David Gedge (@weddingpresent). Quoting Wikipedia: "He is the main songwriter and vocalist in the bands The Wedding Present, and Cinerama", and as you can see, the script is dedicated to him. According to a tweet by Mike Fennelly (@MikeFennelly) that assisted to the table read too, the writer of this episode is Dan Vebber.

This episode will appear in broadcast Season 7, but is part of production 6acv. Cold Warriors could be a reference to a Cold Warrior... "is a phrase used to describe the men and women involved in the shaping and executing of American and Soviet policy during the Cold War". Of course, that's only is my opinion.. I don't even believe myself sometimes.. but it could be fun.

As you can see, Fry with the Professor and the Planet Express ship are images from the 1st 90 seconds of episode "6avc01 - Rebirth". Other images from "Rebirth" are an early version of Robot Leela (funny stuff, perhaps Fry designed that 1st robot), Leela kissing Fry (because the 1st ep. involves Fry and Leela relationship).. and perhaps Fry looking at the Moon.

2 images from "6acv02 - In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela" featuring Leela and Zapp almost naked and looking at something that keeps them amazed..

The image I like the most is the dominatrix Amy, quite sexy and funny.. perhaps from episode "6acv04 - Proposition Infinity" (involving Bender). The rest of images are interesting but I'm not quite sure from which episodes are from, so that's all for now!

Ok, is time for a regular update here at slurmed.com, and that's why I've uploaded some neat fanart for all of you to enjoy. I'm glad to add the latest works by Kaspired (Mike Jessen) that include 2 images mixed with real photos... one with Fry, Leela and Bender under a bridge, and the other features Leela getting out of a sports car. You'll also see 2 robot version of the Futurama characters: Amy and Dr. Zoidberg. One interactive image that seems to be a "connect the dots" version of Bender dressed like a girl, and the final one and featured today, a very well colored + drawn fanart of Leela with her 50's disguise from the episode "3acv09 - Roswell That Ends Well".

The other 2 artists here today are Sof-Sof with one of her weird and extrange images between Fry and Zapp, and the other one is a new Leela image created by Leela's Loyal Slave in his peculiar style.

Hello people. Is 11 pm over here but since I want to, here you go some neat fan stuff! First, 2 new fanfics. The 1st one created by Gulliver63 that features his comic story called Gulliver's Parabox, and the history develops between Universe A in the Lilliput Universe. The 2nd fanfic was created by Leela's Loyal Slave and is called Futurama: Behind The Scenes. This fanfic is about Leela and Fry's life if Futurama where just a sitcom where they work.

I've also added some nice fanart for you to enjoy. 1 image by Leela's Loyal Slave featuring Leela yelling Fry because he ate a birthday cake. The other image was created by 100lbs-o-futurama an features a beautiful sketch of Fry playing the Holophonor and creating a neat Leela image that I'm sure it will look great in a colored version. I guess that's all for today, I've to sleep now...
